Le Petit Abri is situated just a short walk from the centre of the beautiful village of Tremolat. It is perfectly located for you to enjoy a quiet holiday without being isolated, and to visit the many tourist attractions of the region. Sitting on the Dordogne river, close to the historic towns of Bergerac, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Perigueux, Tremolat is located just 40 minutes from Bergerac Airport and close to many of the area’s historic villages, filled with bars, restaurants and famous outdoor markets.

The word Abri means a refuge or shelter and derives from the Occitan (old French) verb “arbrier” meaning to cover or protect.

The gite has its own separate entrance at the back of the property, two private parking areas (one covered) and its own private terrace and swimming pool.

Originally the upper floor of the barn, it has been sympathetically renovated to create a beautiful one bedroom gite. With the exception of a shallow entrance step, everything is on one level, including the outside terrace and access to the pool. We have tried to ensure that as many of its original features have been retained as possible while, at the same time, introducing modern, understated comforts. Here’s the story of Le Petit Abri.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful corner of S W France.
